Infectious Diseases
The infectious disease unit has 22 beds and is dedicated primarily to cases of acute infection. Patients may range from young patients with glandular fever to elderly patients with pneumonia and sepsis. The infectious diseases unit also handles less common infections, such as HIV/Aids, tuberculosis and malaria.
