Utländsk examen
För att arbeta som läkare eller sjuksköterska i Sverige måste du ha svensk legitimation och behärska det svenska språket ( exempelvis intyg på godkänt språkprov i svenska på B2-nivå, Europaskalan).
Socialstyrelsen prövar och meddelar bevis om behörighet för hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal med såväl svensk som utländsk utbildning. Läs mer på Socialstyrelsens webbplats.

If you have an international degree
To work in the healthcare sector in Sweden, you must have a Swedish identification and proof that you master the language (for example, a certified opy of confirmation of equivalent knowledge issued by a provider of Swedish language training.)
The national board of health and welfare will both evaluate and conclude the eligibility of employees within the healthcare service, regardless if they have a Swedish or an international degree. Read more on the National Board website.
