Just over 2.000 people are receiving treatment with PrEP at Venhälsan.
Since September 2022, we unfortunately have a waiting list for PrEP. Unfortunately, we cannot estimate how long one may have to wait before being offered to start with PrEP, as the demand is much higher than our capacity.
From the end of September 2023, PrEP treatment is also offered at Specialistmottagning sexuell hälsa Huddinge, Karolinska University Hospital. They do not have their own waiting list, but offers to start with PrEP at Huddinge is sent to those who have waited the longest on our waiting list.
