PrEP at Venhälsan
Just over 2.000 people are receiving treatment with PrEP at Venhälsan.
Since September 2022, we unfortunately have a waiting list for PrEP. The waiting time has been 12-13 months as the demand is much higher than our capacity.
From September 2024, treatment with PrEP is offered at six addiational clinics in Stockholm:
- Citymottagningen för Sexuell hälsa Karlaplan
- Krys mottagning för sexuell hälsa, Hagastaden
- RFSU-kliniken
- Specialistmottagning sexuell hälsa Huddinge
- Stockholms mottagning för sexuell hälsa
- Älvsjö sexuell hälsa
NOTE! These clinics do not have their own waiting list, but offers to start with PrEP is sent to those who are on our waitinglist at Venhälsan.
Thanks to these new PrEP clinics, we hope that waiting time will decrease significantly.

If you have a Swedish personal number (and BankID), have had a PrEP check-up with us in the last 12 months and need to book a new appointment, you can use the e-services at 1177 or send us a chat message in the app Alltid öppet.
